RST's Taiwan factory has three assembly lines for disk brake production and six lines for front fork production-producting a yearly capacity of 800,000 mid-to-high level front forks as its main line.

The expansion of RST's product line has always been undertaken with the goal of catering to the varying needs of different market segments, and production locations have been selected accordingly. The Dah Ken head office takes care of front fork development of disc brakes. Established in '99, a magnesium alloy factory was added to enable the production of lighter and more innovative magnesium alloy materials, thereby increasing the competitiveness of all related products. The following year saw the release of high-performance magnesium alloy front forks-designed essentially to compete with the highly priced alternatives on the market.
